Abstract Background and purpose: spiritual and physical health, food hygiene, and prevention of diseases are widely discussed in Quran and Islamic tradition. One of the areas that were attended by tradition, in general terms, and by Nabavi tradition, in specific terms, was the area of medicine and physical hygiene and nutrition. Mentions of leaders of Islam about medicine made Muslims pay attention to medicine and compose books and conduct research about medicine. According to Agha Bozorg Tehrani, Reslato Zahabiah by Imam Reza is one of the earliest examples. Other such books are FerdosAl-Hekmah by Ali-ibn-Rein Tabari, Al-havi , Tebo-al-Mansouri, and Man La Yahzaro Tabib by Razi, Ghanoon by Ibne Sina. The oldest and most important of such books is Teb-al-Nabi by Abol Abbas Jaafar ibne Mohammad Mostaghfar Nasafi. There are different medical Hadiths with different degrees of validation for the source and documentation of such books. This study by focusing on the bokk Teb-al-Nabi by Abol abbas Mostaghfari, while dividing the medical Hadiths into four categories, attempts to analyse one section of it, and specifically do content and document analysis of six types of drinks and foods from the medical perspective.
