Introduction: religion is one of the most important entities for the human being. Beside by regarding the rules of the religions, properly, health and happiness would be achieved in the community. This study purpose to survey the religious belief among the midwifery students, interns, gynecologic residents and obstetric staffs of Babol University Of Medical Sciences.
Methods: this study accomplished by a valid and reliable questionnaire about religious belief that completed by 186 number of medical students, midwifery students, residents of gynecology and obstetrics staffs of Babol university of medical sciences. The data was analyzed by SPSS-19.
Results: the average age of the people in this study were 28.24± 7.57. 16.6% of them were men and 83.4% women. 38.8% of the people in the study were medical students or residents, 41.5% were midwives, 15.3% were nurses and 4.4% were graduated in other medical sciences. 56.1% were students and 43.9% were staffs. The average score of religious belief was significantly lower among the medical students(P<0.001). 94.6% of the people in this study have desirable amount of religious belief.
Conclusion: this study demonstrated that the religious belief is favorable among the medical students, midwifery students, residents of gynecology and obstetrics staffs of Babol university of medical sciences.
